Zurich airport to Davos, step by step
A private Zurich airport to Davos transfer takes about two hours when the roads are clear.
Most WEF attendees fly into Zurich International Airport (ZRH) and continue by car. The road follows the motorway towards Landquart, then climbs the valley through Klosters to Davos. In Forum week the last stretch is where time is lost: police checks, heavy traffic and, in bad weather, snow on the approach.
What happens on arrival
- Before landing, your chauffeur sends a short message with the meeting point and a contact number.
- At the airport, a coordinator or the chauffeur meets you just past baggage reclaim with a name board. For VIP clients we organise a full meet & greet from the aircraft.
- While you wait, tea or coffee is offered. The Financial Times is available for arrivals and departures.
- The car is ready with water, hand wipes, mints, chargers, Wi-Fi and umbrellas. In Davos we carry snow grips for every passenger.
- Your chauffeur follows the route agreed with your security team and keeps the dispatch desk informed of any delay.
Do not schedule a meeting within three hours of landing. Flight delays, baggage and checkpoints all sit between the aircraft and your first appointment.

The return journey deserves the same care as the arrival.
