How to get to Davos during the WEF
Travelling to Davos is difficult at the best of times. In Forum week, choose the method with care.
In short
Most guests fly to Zurich (about 150 km from Davos, about two hours by road) and continue by road or by helicopter (about 40 minutes). Geneva and Milan are much longer.

The basics
Getting to Davos, by road
Adverse weather, dense traffic, regular passport checks and roadblocks all slow the journey.
Despite its small size, travelling in Davos can be challenging during the Forum. The best method depends on the guest, the luggage, the security level and the weather.
Most attendees fly into Zurich International Airport (ZRH) and continue by car, which takes approximately two to two and a half hours. The approach runs via Landquart and Klosters. Davos is effectively reached by one main road from the valley, so a single incident on it affects everyone. We plan for that. See our Zurich airport to Davos transfer.
By helicopter
Flying cuts the trip to around 40 minutes. It is subject to conditions and permissions, and it should always come with a road back-up. See our helicopter transfer.
By private jet
Davos has no airport, so private jets land elsewhere, usually Zurich, and continue by helicopter or road. See private jet to Davos.
From Geneva and Milan
We also service transfers from Geneva and Milan. These are much longer, so a stop overnight or a helicopter leg is often the sensible plan. See Geneva and Milan to Davos.
By train
The Rhaetian Railway serves Davos Dorf and Davos Platz. It does not solve luggage, security or the last kilometre to the hotel, which is why our guests travel door to door by private car.

Timing
Give the last hour room
The final stretch into town is where the delays gather: police checks, weather and traffic. Build a margin into any schedule with a fixed start time, and avoid meetings within three hours of landing.
